Featured: The Disappearance of Dr. Steel
After the Show
"ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!"
As the roar of the audience and the stomp of hooves fills the dance hall as the final notes of a remixed 'Call on Me' still fills the air, a white unicorn standing before a set of turntables throws a farewell hoofpump to her throng of fans. She tosses back her blue and aquamarine-striped mane and looks over the gathered masses from behind black goggles with opaque round lenses. As the wave of near-frenzied ponies driven by the night's intense beats swell towards the stage, the DJ-ing unicorn backs up more. Suddenly, a sky blue pegasus with rainbow-streaked mane & tail swoops down onto the stage between the DJ and her fans.
"Quick!" the pegasus yells. "Get on!" With a leap, the DJ lands across the back of the pegasus on her abdomen. The sky blue pegasus gives a nod and dashes out the skylight; leaving a rainbow streak in her wake as she carries the musician to safety just as the first few frenzied fans charge over the turntables to get at their idol...

Since that day, I've never seen Doctor Steel that angry. He looked as if he was about to kill someone but I guess the guy's punishment was what he deserved. You could even say that it was a punishment worse than death. Regardless, with the world leader back, money was completely abolished and slowly things were becoming restored. It's been a few months since we've gotten back and already the world's getting fixed. I actually found out my mom was one of the yellow jackets that were executed so I've been recuperating from my personal loss while living within the Steel household with the Doctor and Lucy. Mr. Sullivan's business was ran out as soon as Doctor Steel left the Yellow Jacket building, after realizing that there were girls younger than 18 working and living in the place. Things were really looking up.
Everyone took part in making the place feel and look like home again. Granted, there was little control when we started but after a

Everyone was ready to go. They had everything together and they buckled in to their seats. Once everything was ready, the countdown commenced. "15...14....13...." The electronic voice echoed through the spacecraft. Doctor Steel looked at Lucy a little nervously. They had no idea if they waited for them in space. They waited as the numbers counted down, pressing buttons and starting the engines. Nervousness hung in the air like a cloud of smoke. They knew what could've been out there. The one thing that lay behind it was whether or not they would make it.
"3...2...1...", the aircraft rumbled as the rockets blew out fire like a dragon. The crew braced themselves against their seats as it started to take off. As it began to lift, Doctor Steel felt a hand reach towards his. He looked over and saw Lucy smiling back at him. They floated through space untouched and eventually made it back to Earth over

I woke back to back with Mary. The sound of her breathing was relaxing and after the night, I was used to the smell of a light match in the air. I crawled out of the tent and looked around, watching the mist swirl around int the air. I looked next to where the fire put was and expected to see Doctor Steel sleeping, but his spot was empty. Frantically I looked around, only to see him sleeping with Lucy. With his arms around her, he held her close to him. They looked like the perfect couple with their legs entwined. I gave a soft "aww" under my breath and looked up at the sky. We were probably going to head back to Earth, but I'll admit, I would miss the planet we were on. I hoped we could venture back here some day, even for a little bit. I heard shuffling and saw Xander emerge from the tent where Claudia slept.
"Morning...", Xander mumbled stepping outside.
I yawned and replied, "Morning". "See those two?", I nodde

As we walked back to the site, Doctor Steel and Lucy were finishing up while Claudia was singing something on a log. She was staring at something on her arm and guessed it was a small bug or something. I didn't know how the two adults weren't dying from cuteness but I figured they were concentrating on getting the rocket packed up. It felt like we were getting ready to go home from a vacation or something, though I remembered that we came here to escape a space battle. We held the boar-thing on our shoulders, laying it down with a grunt before everyone.
"What... The hell is that?", Lucy said, looking up at us.
"A boar type thing... We figured it'd make good bacon...", Mary spoke, looking at it with disgust.
"Every time we catch something else, I consider becoming a vegetarian...", Doctor Steel stared at it. I looked at Lucy who already had a knife in her hand. Maybe she was going to turn it into bacon. All I knew was, I wasn't

It had to be an hour later before she opened her eyes again. It was still night and the distant glow of the butterflies showed them that no one was moving around to look for the two of them. Naked, with his seed dried on the inside of her thigh and still warm inside her, she twisted around until she was on top of him, waking him up with kisses up his neck and jawline. He opened his eyes and looked up at her and smiled.
"Well good morning to you too...", he joked, bringing her down to kiss him.
She smiled against him, caressing his chest. "You do realize it's still

(WARNING: the contents of this chapter contain mature material that is not suitable for young readers. If you're under the age 14, please skip over this chapter and read the next one when I write it. If you do not, then it's not my fault that you read it and from that point on, it's on you. I'm not putting a mature content filter on this because there are younger teens (like 14-16) who read this sort of thing. I know, I was one of them. So please don't be offended that you don't see a filter on this. Also for the people who can't be bothered with a sex scene, pretty much just skip this chapter if need be. Not to worry though, it's important to the story. You'll see why later. Thank you for your time! Enjoy the story! BY THE WAY!!! This song's amazing with this part ;D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98e5tUvVjKw)
He chuckled and pulled her against him. "Is that so?... And what if I were to agree with this implication?

As we kept the multicolored fire going, Doctor Steel returned holding a few creatures on the ends of a few ropes that I guess he found or made.
"Uh... Doctor? What are those?", Mary asked pointing at the wriggling things attached to his line. They looked something like fish, they had the streamlined bodies with the tails, but they didn't have fins or regular faces. They had many eyes and random tentacles extending off of their bodies, wiggling madly like some sort of octopus/fish offspring.
"Um.... I think they're fish.... I found a lake near by, which seemed safe enough, and caught these. Though I have no idea where to cut or anything... We're dealing with alien life forms here...", he said looking at them awkwardly. His tanktop was soaked from an obvious struggle with these creatures.
"Eww... I hate fish....", Claudia pouted, crossing her arms.
"Well would you rather not have dinner?", Xander asked her.
"We could have smores!", she smiled ho

Doctor Steel concentrated on finding good pieces of wood. He thought about what he just did and wanted to kick himself for it. He could've easily just made matters worse, but he did make it clear that he didn't like her, didn't he? He sighed. All he wanted was for her to be happy, but that wouldn't be so simple. To make her happy would mean that he would have to be with her, but he couldn't do that. One, she was much too young for him and two he already felt for someone else. Lucy had raced across his mind while the two kissed. He tried to pretend that she was her and that Carolyn had gone somewhere else. It almost felt real, until he opened his eyes. One side of him knew it wasn't her, the other wished that it were. However at that moment, he was so lost in thought that he never noticed the fact that Lucy had motioned for Carolyn to go with the others so that she could be alone with him.
"Phineas?" She spoke.

The rocket landed on the ground, letting up a cloud of red dust in the air.
The door opened as we walked out of the ship. I breathed in as I stepped off. The air felt like how it did on Earth, it just had a funny smell. At that moment, it was the best thing that ever invaded my nostrils.
"WE'RE ALIVE!!!!", Claudia jumped up and down like a hyperactive bunny, flailing her arms in the air. Xander scooped her up and twirled her around, making her giggle. I looked over at Mary who was smiling at them two.
"So I take it you like him, huh...", I smiled, hoping she forgave me for getting us in this mess.
"Maybe...", she smiled back. I could tell she did. I hugged her tightly.
"I'm glad we made it out of there.." I smiled.
"Yeah, but this is never happening again, right?", she glared at me.
"Yeah...", I smiled sheepishly. "Never again". I looked behind me and saw Doctor Steel and Lucy standing wi

(Author's Note: You need to watch/listen to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWQ49Mc-cbI before reading this next part. Bill Nighy's character (Viktor, he also played Davey Jones in Pirates of the Carribean and did the voice for Rattlesnake Jake in Rango. He's also been in a lot of other things that I can't think off of the top of my head) is the guy who says "And you should learn your place." Think of his voice when you read the part of the leader of the Alien Illuminati, aka The Council)
Doctor Steel looked around at the others, all the same worried expressions on their faces. The trial room was huge, fitting maybe thousands of viewers into one place. The Council stood up on a raised platform maybe a hundred feet above where they were. Their platform rose, bringing them high into the air. Claudia's sniffles were softer now, but still hear able. He wanted nothing more than to reach over to her and hug her, but not wh

Doctor Steel was brought down a dark tunnel, lead by the shackles that dug into his wrists. His forehead was beaded with sweat and his flesh felt cold. The guards in front of him opened doors leading to a giant hall. It was the mess hall where the other inmates came to eat and to hear orders from either the other guards or from The Council itself. The place was packed, swarming wither with figures with giant dragon-fly wings, people sitting, and whatnot. The entire place chattered with noise but it all silenced when Doctor Steel entered the room. Evidently the deaths of the other inmates quickly spread through the rest of the prison. The guards led him to what looked a stage but with iron rings attached to the floor. He was kicked to the top and then forced to his knees where the guards chained his shackles to the rings so that he couldn't stand. He looked about the room. The other aliens watched him, seeing this public displa

Doctor Steel silently left the room with his precious computers. He couldn't believe what his eyes had just seen. His own men, cutting down others just for opposing their views. He was shaking as he walked. He never really had the stomach for violence such as that plus he knew each person that was on Death Row. He forced his grey mush back down as it threatened to find its way back to where it came from. He traced the hallways and passed empty, abandoned, cells on his way back to his. A musky smell hung over the air from water damage within the rusted compartments. He barely noticed the shadow that stood behind him.
"Look what we got here! A human lost his way!" a deep voice echoed to its chattering friends in the background.
He whirled around. Looming over him was a grot

I watched Xander as he set up Doctor Steel's computer monitor within the compartments of the rocket that we were going to take. It was the finishing touch and then we'd be on our way. It's been a few days since we last spoke with Doctor Steel. I sort of missed him. When I took breaks from helping everyone with the ship and supplies, I'd come up to the lab to see if he was trying to gain contact, but no one answered. The only sound coming from the computer when I turned it on was a robotic "Welcome, Doctor Steel". Some silly part of me thought he was angry with me for showing him the execution video. I knew that wouldn't be since he was more angry at the Yellow Jackets... But didn't he have enough on his mind already?
"Carolyn, It's almost time!", Lucy said to me excitedly before she took us to grab space suits. Thankfully Doctor Steel had m

"DOCTOR STEEL!!!", Claudia squeaked and ran over to where he knelled, bound to the platform. She flung her little arms around him. It was quick since she then quickly pulled away, scrunching up her nose.
"Ewwwww, why's there grey stuff all over you?", she asked.
"That was dinner...", Doctor Steel smiled at the 9 year old. I don't know but there was something almost fatherly in the way he looked at her. If I didn't know better, I'd believe he was her dad.
"Why are you shackled up like this?", Lucy asked, walking over to them.
"My trial's soon...", he said, his expression darkened. He looked up at her and then the rest of us. "The Council's going to determine weather I spend the rest of my life here or if I... If I die...", he bent his head down and grimaced. His body began to tremble and he sounded like he was trying not to cry. Claudia wrapped her

We all scampered around the room looking for his rocket notes. I found the one I was looking at before Doctor Steel called on the monitor and quickly found other notes around it. The others found the other papers and we quickly retreated down to the lower levels of the lab. In a prison. Not only a prison but an Alien prison. I only hoped that we wouldn't be too late to save him. We found the button for the lower lab and pressed it. "Welcome Doctor Steel", a robotic voice echoed through out the space they occupied. As they walked into the room, fluorescent lights buzzed to life, revealing a giant rocket that looked partially finished.
"Hey, Carolyn, Can you hand me those papers?", Xander looked over at me. I had only just realized that he wore an eye patch over his left eye. I wondered what could've happened to him and why someone would do such a thing. He was mine and Mary's age after all. A kid, like us. I

He knew the smell well. Those dank corridors that looked more like caves than a prison hallway but then again the guards here never really cared much for the prisoners' well being anyway. Mold was as thick in the air as it was on the walls. He wished he had his black gloves to keep his hands away from the contaminants. When he ruled over earth, the criminals were brainwashed and put into children's shows showing kids how to make snow flakes out of paper with a constant smile on their faces. They felt nothing but happiness. No pain, nothing but the smile threatening to split open their faces. Just the way he liked it. He smiled to himself. The one thing they couldn't take from him were his goggles. They tried but he fought. He didn't have those muscles just for pleasing fan-girls and whatnot. "Speaking of which..." he thought to himself. He could

A few days later we had a gathering of a few people with us. It was me, Mary, an Ex- Toy Soldier: Sergeant Morrison; or Lucy, this young girl named Claudia and her older brother named Xander. It was six of us and that was just enough for me. I knew if more people knew about this, the Yellow Jackets would've been after our heads. This power was considered theirs and they had full intentions on keeping it. We couldn't get let off any signs of what we were doing or they'd be after us like dogs on a piece of meat.
Sergeant Morrison knew how the Yellow Jackets worked and has been trying to figure out a way to break their nice and neat little walls down. She used to work with The Doctor when he was still here and I could tell she even admired him a little. When Mary went to her to say what was going on, she practically jumped out of her seat in excitement for this. Any opportunity to ruin the

It was rather misty and the sunlight was fading on the horizon. I felt the wind in my face as if trying to ease the tension I felt in the pit of my stomach. I tried not to look at the water that was slowly beginning to fill the boat up and tried to ignore the occasional shark fin that popped in and out of the corner of my eye. The smell of sea salt was beginning to make me feel sick when mixed with the unease I felt.
"Look, Xander! I'm like the lady in Titanic!", I heard Claudia giggle towards the front of the boat. I looked over to see Xander holding Claudia by her waist and Sgt. Morrison at the helm smiling at the two of them.
"Xander's a pretty good brother, isn't he?" Mary said standing beside me. I nodded trying to keep my food in my stomach.
"Do you think we'll find him?" I finally said after the nausea subdued slightly.
"I don't know... If the special ops teams didn't find him there, then I doubt he'd be there now.."
Disappearance of Dr. Steel ch2
I looked in the mirror of the dressing room as I put on my lipstick Since the Yellow Jackets took Dr. Steel's place money was needed as currency, or so they said. The world was in poverty since money wasn't necessary when Dr. Steel ruled. It was Corrupted now. Violent again. There weren't many people who weren't afraid to walk out of their own front door. Since the continents were connected, by Dr. Steel himself in order to unify the world, nowhere was safe. Except for maybe his island but no one ever ventured there since the day he went missing. That place brought too many happier memories that died when he was gone.
The forensics officers gave up a year after the incident. You'd think they wouldn't stop until they found something but everything they'd think they found would just lead them on a wild goose chase meant for nothing. I was so young then. Naïve. I thought he'd come back like a superhero, ready to save the world from sadness and pain. I would still like to believe he'd
The Disappearance of Dr. Steel
It was a beautiful day when hell broke loose. The world was watching it's normal Saturday morning cartoons when an important news broadcast interrupted Bugs Bunny.
"My fellow people of the Utopian Playland. Our leader, Dr. Steel, has been pronounced missing since 7:00 this very morning. Seemingly without a trace he has left no signs of returning to us. Forensic officers are investigating his island as we speak. Please remain calm and go about your lives as normally as possible. We will bring the Good Doctor back in no time. Don't forget your cookies. This is reporter Brecht signing off." and with that our cartoons resumed as though nothing happened. I, being only 11 years old at the time, turned to the only other person in this world who I believed had all the answers. Mom.

Do You Have Steel In The Soul?
My dear Comrades,
We all know the various ailments and problems plaguing our society these days.
War. Hunger. Famine. Disease. General sadness and oppressed souls, the degradation of music, art, society, and culture.
But these are an anomaly in the human equation that, with the proper re-configuring, could be fixed and we would no longer have to live under these depressing, oppressing, and repressing society flaws. What I'm talking about is a degree of society unknown ever before. While there have been civilizations in the past such as Communistic, Capitalistic, Republican, Democratic, Anarchist, Primitive, Empirical, Monarchy, Socialist, Fascist, Bureaucratic, and I'm sure dozens of terms I'm forgetting, there has never truly been a completely Utopian society in all of mankind's existence(Unless you believe in the Garden Of Eden. Which I'm not here to test your faith, I'm here to invite you into the world of Steel.
But. We can change this.
"Oh, do tell us what you're blathering on abo
